Welcome to The Fire Within the Cult's page. This book is based on true events of my childhood. As seen through the eyes of a nine-year-old child. This story is of a young girl who navigates through a religious cult meant for indoctrination, to militia conspirators training her to an FBI standoff that lasted about 81 days on a ranch. It took Angela and I, my Co-Author and best friend, three and a half years to write as I had to relive the memories and process them with a biblical counselor. My dream was not only to write this book but to also share this intense story through film. With anticipation, In hope that my experiences will help bring courage and strength to others. I genuinely believe that if you're seeking the truth and want a change it comes from within. If I can overcome these childhood traumas and get the life tools I needed as an adult, I believe you too can overcome yours. You got this! :)
